Happiness in 6 Hours....

Uhmmm....let's do something different for a change today. Get out and go to my brother's rented house. I wanted to walk the dog but my nephew Rij insisted to take the tricycle ( pronounced as traysikel in Tagalog ), plus my pet dog Pusa Mae ( yes, my dog's name is translated as CAt hehehe, i used to have one named Puppy!, that one a real dog).  Anyway, Baby, my brother as we fondly call him is a designer of women's clothes, gowns and dresses, well he is way too artistic that he can do just about anything. He is such a creative genius but sometimes that precisely gets in the way ( ahhhh....that's good for another topic of discussion). 'Twas a busy day for him, with all these "rush" gowns that customers are waiting to fit and take home. Without him knowing, I took the liberty to take photos everywhere i can in his territory. The white dress is for the "Mama Mary" statue, the fitting forms i see in many corners of the house, the hardworking makina (sewing machine),  the lucky Vigan chair which i used to have ( he took it back from me hehehe), "ninang" gowns, and gowns for some teenage girls, the peeping tom in me (see the dog?, the dogs, about 7 of them had to be locked up as they are scaring the customers), the cupboards which you can mistake for some Greek ancient ruins (just the right angling of camera hehehehe).....
Now let me just get out of the house and see what's new in the compound. My brother opened up a little sari-sari store with ihaw-ihaw infront of it. The famous ISAW Filipino street food, now this novelty for me. I haven't touched this for i believe almost two decades now, and you can see I indulged myself in this display of street food culinary Pinoy style, and had my taste of the ISAW ( exotic as it is, it is chicken intestine actually). Hmmmm....I would not have the guts to indulge again if i didn't know who and how it was prepared. Assured that it is clean and safe, I, yes, INDULGED and FEASTED hehehehehe.....you can see my ecstatic moments from some photos....hehehehhe. It was also a good time for my pet Pusa Mae [she has menstration so "walking the dog" idea ( "Gala" as how my pet knows it ) is great idea and a delight for her, to meet some boy toy dogs hahhahahah.....] And she's caught on cam although her newfound mate had tried to escape by jumping over the roof ( she must be way too hot for him to handle the same way these ISAW things are "nagbabaga sa init" hehehehe like volcanoes heating up!)....
You can actually get fun doing things other than the usual....i had real Fun doing this! Of course, never forgetting my salat prayers in between all this....
Wonderful, Wonderful 6 hours! Oh You notice the basket of paper files?....that is my collection of recipes [my treasures, ours!] which started this very blog Alhamdulillah....and we are in not for just mere 6 hours of sharing fun and all, it is gonna be for a lifetime....InshaAllah (God willing....)!

I got a confession to make. I am food addict, over-indulgent! I crave for anything especially sweets, chocolates, cakes, ice cream, strawberries, halo-halo, leche flan, banana Q, breads, pasta, Nasi Goreng....tell me what you got in your fridge ;-D. Thank heavens for I got my mum's genes, I can gain and lose pounds that easy and quick. I am here to share with you my food recipe collection (almost forgotten in a corner of my room) and search for new, exciting recipes, meet good people, and discover more about the world of baking. I am no professional baker or chef (just a wanna-be for now) but we'll get there in time. In sha Allah. Afterall, DREAMS just got to start somewhere, and it starts right here, right now! Meantime enjoy this food journey with me among other stuff....amigos to the kitchen! [Thank you for visiting my blog, you're always welcome to come by! Feel free to dig deep into the posts, much treasures there. And leave your comments, I'd appreciate your words....] [P.S. Borrowed articles/photos can be deleted anytime, please advise.Thank you.]
