"The Bergman – Werntoft House is a project by Johan Sundberg, a person who believes that each project has its own structural strength and refined style. Johan believes that the architect's profession is an artistic endeavor with elements of technology, economics and many other things. One of his projects, the Bergman – Werntoft House, is a house situated in the heart of the Ljungskogen forest, in Vellinge, south of Malmö - Sweden. The design is based on the Danish atrium house typology from the 60s and 70s and has an outer brick wall and an inner façade which is mostly glazed. The inner and outer walls of the building are folded and doors and windows move in and out of alignment along the outer walls. This helps define spaces and views, frames the nature outside and creates an inner life."
