"The Bergman – Werntoft House is a project by Johan Sundberg,
a person who believes that each project has its own structural strength
and refined style. Johan believes that the architect's profession is
an artistic endeavor with elements of technology, economics and many
other things. One of his projects, the Bergman – Werntoft House, is a
house situated in the heart of the Ljungskogen forest, in Vellinge,
south of Malmö - Sweden. The design is based on the Danish atrium house
typology from the 60s and 70s and has an outer brick wall and an inner
façade which is mostly glazed. The inner and outer walls of the building
are folded and doors and windows move in and out of alignment along the
outer walls. This helps define spaces and views, frames the nature
outside and creates an inner life."
