Dulce de Leche + Alfajores
Makes 20ish cookies.
Dulce de Leche (Recipe from Chez Pim)
- 1/2 gallon whole milk
- 1 1/2 Cups (500 g) sugar
- Pinch of salt
Butter Cookies (Recipe from Baking Bites )
- 3/4 Cup (1 1/2 stick) unsalted butter, room temp
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 Teas. vanilla extract
- 2 Cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 Teas. baking powder
- Pinch of salt
